Churches at 10650 De Soto Avenue, Chatsworth

Several independent congregations share the building at 10650 De Soto Avenue, Chatsworth, CA 91311. Each has its own pastor, its own community and its own service time — they are neighbours under one roof, not branches of one church. All of them belong to The Assemblies of God.

If you arrived and heard a language you did not expect, you are probably in the right building at the wrong hour. This page should help you find the right one.

Riverstone Chapel of Chatsworth — English

Sunday worship — 11:00 am. Services in English, led by Pastors Joe and April Gutel. The service is also streamed live on their Facebook page.

They also gather midweek: small groups on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm, and a prayer meeting on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm over Zoom.

Russian-Speaking Protestant Church — Russian

Sunday worship — 4:30 pm. Services in Russian, led by Pastor Oleg Gulin. Sunday school for children runs at the same time, so parents can stay in the service.

A prayer meeting follows at 6:00 pm, and a crisis counselor is available on Sundays from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. On Mondays we hold a recovery ministry for people struggling with addiction — open to anyone, church member or not.

This is our congregation. More about us: in English · на русском · Phone: (818) 741-1212

First Assyrian Assembly of God — Assyrian

An Assyrian congregation led by Rev. Shamuel Italiaie, also part of The Assemblies of God (SoCal Network).

We are not listing their service time or phone number here, and we would rather say why than guess: the public directories disagree with each other. Different listings give two different addresses and three different phone numbers, and none of them publishes a service time. Printing the wrong one would send someone to the wrong place.

If you are looking for this congregation, the surest way is to contact us and we will point you to them, or ask at the building on a Sunday.

Finding the building

10650 De Soto Avenue sits in the northwest San Fernando Valley, a short drive from Northridge, Granada Hills, Canoga Park, West Hills and Porter Ranch.

A practical note: because several congregations use the same space, the parking lot and the sanctuary can be busy right before and after each service. If you are visiting for the first time, arriving ten minutes early makes it easier.

This page is maintained by the Russian-speaking congregation. We list our neighbours because visitors often arrive looking for one of them and we would rather help than shrug. If anything here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
